The Shackled Man

Though Sharon and Gail do not know this man's true identity, they believe he is their grandfather. Gail's first glimpse of this man was in an enigmatic and powerful dream, where he tested her strength in a sword duel. The man also seems to be the same one that Stella Wincott encountered decades ago in New Orleans -- the one who is Sharon and Gail's true grandfather. Though Stella believes him to be the devil, Gail and Sharon hope to find some trace of him and discover more about his true nature... and their own.

Sharon and Gail do not yet know it, but the Shackled Man they seek is still very much alive -- he appeared to Saxony Canterbury in New Orleans. His assignment for the private investigator involved finding Sharon and Gail and hastening their "awakening," in preparation for danger to come. While his intentions towards them are unclear, he has said they are "significant" to him, and seems to want to protect them and nurture their strength.
