Thunderstruck Outtakes ALTERNATE VERSION -- "The Hostage Scene" At about this point in the story, Gail has a dramatic confrontation with the Vigil operatives, using Agent Hayes as a hostage. I considered throwing in a scene here that showed the goofy, lighthearted camaraderie between the Vigil agents, but ultimately decided that it didn't fit with the mood of the scene. 
ALTERNATE VERSION -- "Devin's Last Moments" I don't mean to air out our dirty laundry, but quite frankly, some of the script changes come because of the behavior of the actors. In this scene, the original script was written so that a barely-alive Devin recounted what had happened in the church when Vigil battled the Dwarf, Agnir. However, our young friend couldn't help but throw in some improvisation every time we shot the scene, and eventually I went with a different approach. Here's one of his "ideas." Hayes felt pretty much the same way I did about it:
