I think it's safe to go back in the water. Or
back to the forum, I mean.
My anti-spam measures finally seem to be taking effect. I've caught a few spammers
in the nets I've set out, and the result is that we haven't had any spam for about 48
hours, which is a first.
So there are two rules on the board that may be of some inconvenience to you, but seem
to be keeping out the spambots:
- You can't put more than five links in a post
- If you have fewer than three posts, I'll have to approve your post before it appears on the forum.
Hopefully, that's not so onerous. Meanwhile, if you're willing, head on over and give the
forum another try. And please let me know if there are any difficulties or issues in using
it. As you can tell, I'm still feeling my way with this thing.
