Please e-mail me
with entries.
You must be an Express member to enter these races, and all Arabs entered must be ARR registered or pending registration.
FEES: 5¢/horse, 25¢/stable. Stamps accepted as fees. Limits: 2 entries per owner for Stakes races, and all other races limit of 3 horses per owner. Any maiden race with only one entry will be canceled or combined with another race if possible. Send the info on your horses' last year of results, all trainer's notes welcome!
E-mail entries are accepted, and are free. Send online entries with "Flatirons race entries" or something similar that will catch my eye in the subject line. Both sorts of entries must arrive by noon of the day of the race.
Blackadder-bred horses are welcome at Flatirons Raceway. I do run all my races double-blind, and dice rolls are only assigned to a code word, not associated with any horse, until after all the calculations are finished.
You cannot be your own jockey, and you don't have to be your own trainer, although I think it's rare in model racing to see someone besides the horse owner listed as trainer.
Please use standard PC formats for race entries, or paste the horses' information into an e-mail message. I can read plain text, rich text, Word Pad and most Word document files. Zipped files are also all right, though I hope no one will have THAT many entries!

PAST PERFORMANCE 1999:
4/8 Texas Track, Maiden 3yo 6f,fast, #117, 8th of 8
left behind early, only got worse
5/10 Michigan Track, Maiden 3yo fillies 4f T, firm, #116, 4th of 4
slow out of gate, same all the way around
6/12 Florida Track, Maiden 3yo 6f T very very deep,#114,1st of 6, T=4:54.3
all other horses spooked at alligator on track.
Trainer's Notes: This terribly slow filly really needs a break to make it in the racing world. Fortunately we have found her strength- not noticing dangerous things. Staying with the blinkers, still ridden by P. Sucker, who rode her to her dramatic win last outing. Move up to Stakes if track is infested with alligators, flamingoes, armadillos, antelope, moose, etc.
I hope that your horses will look better than this! Give me all the info you
think is important about the racer's parents and any of their offspring-
even if they raced and didn't win, it's better than having no known starters.
You might also consider including information about the jockey in your
trainer's notes- if she rode one of your other horses to a Stakes win,
I'd take that into consideration.
